IT Implementation Engineer - Hull - £35k to £45k

Principal IT are working public safety delivery company that are based in Hull. Our client provides a key structure and infrastructure for the emergency services around the UK.

Within this role, you will be expected administer and develop the network, server and infrastructure. This role will involve remote and on-site building of Cortex solutions, whilst also helping with the new telephone platforms that come on the market.

Further Responsibilities Include:

  • Become a product implementation expert on Cortex ICCS product and other designated products
  • Install/build base Windows/database infrastructure onto Virtual Machine hardware prior to installation of software
  • Internal Project-related activities as directed by the Project manager or Delivery manager, including supporting Development, Client Services, and SQA activities as required
  • Travel in UK and potentially overseas as project needs demand

  • Active Directory
  • DHCP, DNS
  • Server Installation 2016/2019
  • Firewalls
  • Installing Software
  • Configure Software
  • Virtualisation Technologies (Hyper-V / EXSi)
  • Data Migration
  • Understanding of Windows Operating Systems & Microsoft Office
