We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious professional services organisation, seeking a Strategic Communications Partner to join their exciting organisation on an 18-month fixed-term basis. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of the company's strategy through compelling and engaging communications that resonate with colleagues across the organisation. This role can be based in Cardiff or Newport and offers hybrid working.

The role

As a Strategic Communications Partner, you will:

  • Collaborate with Executive and Business Sponsors to craft and implement a communication strategy aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Create integrated communication plans, delivering impactful messages through appropriate channels.
  • Continuously improve their approach to colleague engagement, ensuring communications are timely, clear, and inclusive.
  • Lead the creation and execution of the company's strategic communications plan, ensuring alignment with transformation goals.
  • Oversee communication activities at the value stream level to maximize colleague engagement.
  • Simplify complex information into accessible content for various audiences.
  • Work with project teams to manage communication plans and arrangements for all stakeholders.
  • Use evaluation tools to measure the success of communication strategies and advise on necessary adjustments.
  • Identify and manage events and issues requiring public or media response, collaborating with the Brand & Comms team.
  • Produce quality, engaging multimedia content to support the company's engagement activities.

The candidate:

  • An effective communicator with excellent oral and written skills, able to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Thrives in a team environment and works well with colleagues across different functions and levels.
  • Has a forward-looking approach and creativity in using digital channels and multimedia content.
  • Is organised and efficient, able to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Is proactive and adaptable, ready to take the initiative and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Understands the importance of inclusivity, creating engaging communications for diverse audiences.

Salary: £38,000-£40,000 plus excellent benefits including private healthcare
