Customer Order Processor

Join our dynamic team in Corby as a full-time Order Processor and contribute to our growing trade. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to become an integral part of our team.

This is a temp to perm opportunity paying £12.00 per hour to start and there are many future development opportunities. The role is based in Corby working 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Order Processing: Organise and control the effective processing of customer orders to the highest standard, this can involve communication with customers over the phone as well as admin duties.
- Accuracy & Efficiency:Ensure the accurate, efficient, and cost-effective processing of orders/estimating.
- Reporting Report on the efficiency and accuracy of order processing/estimating.
- Quality Checks: Ensure orders are checked thoroughly through to the Technical Checker prior to acknowledgement.
- Customer Enquiries: Provide quick and efficient responses to all customer enquiries via email and telephone.
- Non-Standard Items:Assist the team in checking and ordering non-standard items
- Liaison:Effectively liaise with the Operations and Finance functions and throughout the Sales and Marketing department.
- Order Acknowledgements: Ensure all acknowledgements are sent out within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of a clean order.
- Production Paperwork: Ensure production paperwork is available five working days before dispatch.

Experience & Skills:

- Experience with internal systems like FileMaker.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and internal coordination.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
