About the Role

Base Location: Perth

Salary: £26,609 - £30,472 per annum + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Fixed Term Contract or Secondment (12 months) | Full Time | Flexible First options available

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our Salaries Team. This is an interesting and fast paced role where you'll be responsible for the accurate monthly processing of a high volume of transactions varying in complexity. You'll be committed to providing our customers with an excellent service, as well as making a valuable contribution to continuously improving the way we work. As Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Payroll processing of new starters, leavers, changes, and administration of company benefits and schemes, in addition to performing manual payroll calculations, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Dealing with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
  • Supporting with other administration tasks relating to employee record maintenance as required by the wider payroll team.
  • Actively identifying opportunities to work more efficiently and to improve the service provision of the team as well as contributing to the production of robust procedures.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we'd love you to have:

  • Recent payroll or financial experience along with experience of using a Payroll and Expenses system. Oracle payroll experience would be advantageous.
  • Organised and methodical with the ability to work to tight monthly deadlines.
  • Experience of working with numbers and across multiple computer systems.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and have a good working knowledge of Office 365.
  • A proven track record of providing great customer service.
