Key Responsibilities
- Property Compliance:
Ensure all properties are fully compliant with health and safety regulations, including gas safety, electrical safety, and other legal requirements. Manage certificates and renewals, and liaise with relevant contractors or service providers.
- Maintenance Coordination:
Oversee property maintenance tasks, schedule repairs, and manage contractors. Ensure any maintenance issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Administrative Assistance:
Provide general administrative support, including managing property documentation, updating property management software, processing invoices, and filing reports.
- Tenant Enquiries:
Serve as the first point of contact for tenant queries and issues, providing timely responses and ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Property Inspections:
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and identify any necessary repairs or improvements. Prepare inspection reports and follow up on actions.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
At least two years of experience in property management, administration, or a related field.
- Communication:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with tenants, contractors, and colleagues professionally.
- Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially when managing multiple properties.
- Problem-Solving:
Ability to handle tenant issues, maintenance queries, and compliance requirements efficiently and with attention to detail.
- IT Proficiency:
Competent in using property management softwares, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and digital tools for managing property portfolios. Training to be provided where necessary.
- Flexibility:
Adaptable and able to work within flexible hours to suit both the needs of the business and your personal commitments.
