You will effectively manage and control all field service activities and resources, identify and implement continuous improvement activities designed to improve service, efficiency and profit, and travel to sites to establish and develop robust customer relationships with named site contacts.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with significant field-based experience, perhaps with some experience of supervising and coordinating teams, now looking to step into a management role. Alongside career development opportunities, you will have access to a range of employee benefits, including generous holiday allowance, an electric company car and more.

Role responsibilities:

  • Plan and prioritise all field-based activity, balancing planned and emergency work, being mindful of SLAs, deadlines and the customer experience.
  • Supporting engineers with troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of charging points, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Work closely with internal procurement and infrastructure management colleagues to ensure timely supply of resources, including staff and equipment, to meet project deadlines
  • Liaise with sub-contractors as needed, to ensure swift action is taken by field-based engineers to complete final testing and commissioning activities.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, attending meetings and site visits, and capturing customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve the customer experience and support Energy Park's commercial objectives.
  • Timely submissions of certifications and DNO applications.
  • Management of workshop resources and activity, including the build of chargers and equipment prior to starting installation on customer sites.

Experience/qualifications required:

  • Significant experience within a Field Service role, preferably within the EV sector or similar.
  • Experience and qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in relevant field, for example Electrical Installation or Maintenance
  • Proven experience of effectively managing field-based teams and resources, working to deadlines, prioritising competing demands and ensuring timely completion of work.
  • Ability to lead and oversee a team from afar, communicating effectively with direct reports and ensuring achievement of business objectives.
  • Proactive and hands-on, able and willing to complete field-based work when needed to ensure work is completed on time and to the standard needed.
  • Highly motivated and organised, able to plan your own time as well as the time of others, able to organise and monitor resources.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain long-term working relationships with customers. Personable and professional.

This role is also subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
