The purpose of this role is to assist in the efficient running of the finance department and will involve processing invoices and working to meet month end deadlines.

The business operates globally and has invested heavily both in its manufacturing site and equipment.
Description
Purchase Ledger Assistant duties include:
- Matching, batching & processing invoices
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Making payments by BACS / cheque
- Month end processes
- Liaising with internal & external colleagues
- Providing cover across the finance department
- Responsibility for the finance email inbox
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record in a similar role
- Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
- Be able to work to tight deadlines
- Show a high level of attention to detail
