What you'll do:
As a Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of our client's finance team. Your role will involve managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, designing comprehensive reporting packages, coordinating budgeting processes, managing cash flow, liaising with external auditors, and providing valuable financial insights. You will be instrumental in shaping the company's financial strategy while maintaining its people-first culture.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
- Enhance the quality of line management within the Finance department through feedback, training, and development plans.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and tax laws.
- Design and own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages and board packs.
- Ensure regular completion of Balance Sheet reconciliation and maintain stock accuracy across multiple systems.
- Coordinate annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts for business planning and resource allocation.
- Manage cash flow to ensure the organization's ability to meet financial obligations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during financial audits and examinations.
What you bring:
The ideal Financial Controller candidate brings a wealth of experience from a fast-paced ecommerce environment. You'll have excellent organisational skills, enforce controls effectively, maintain a robust control environment, and demonstrates strong professional judgement. Your communication skills are top-notch; are diligent with an eye for detail. Ypou'll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and hav at least two years of experience in a similar role. Experience working in a multijurisdictional business would be a plus.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrable ability to adhere to processes, enforce controls and maintain a robust control environment.
- Strong professional judgement with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diligence with an eye for detail.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- At least two years experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a multijurisdictional business would be advantageous.
