We are thrilled to be supporting a market leading, global business based in Loughborough. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Group Accountant to join the finance team. This newly created position offers the chance to be at the heart of a rapidly expanding global organisation. This role will see you taking charge of delivering accurate and timely financial reports, overseeing various projects and accounting for the group. This opportunity comes with an annual salary of up to £45,000 dependant on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing transactional accounting for the group.
- Support the preparation of month-end reports for group holding companies, including, intercompany transactions, prepayments, accruals etc.
- Assist with treasury - daily banking needs and onboarding new businesses to the UK platform.
- Oversee ad-hoc projects such as helping to improve consolidation and reporting processes.
- Assist in transitioning to a new system.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the FP&A team including business requests.
- Support with continual improvement to processes.
Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified part-qualified with experience in auditing/accounting practice.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly in consolidation and cashflows.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance staff.
- Advanced Excel skills.
