Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Salary: Up to £30,000 basic dependent on experience, plus benefits
Who You'll Be Working For
Our client is the UK's largest provider of garage equipment workshop services and spares, and is a member of a European group active in various sectors including manufacturing, distribution, and automotive aftermarket services.
Job Purpose
As an employee of the UK's premier garage equipment service company, you will play a crucial role in our business development efforts. Experience with vehicle lifts or a background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering is advantageous, but training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of garage equipment products in the field, including vehicle lifts, brake testers, gas analysers and smoke testers
- Complete and submit precise paperwork
- Adhere to Health & Safety laws and regulations in the workplace
- Manage van stock to achieve First Time Fix targets
Typical Skills & Experience
- Solid working knowledge and field service experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Ability to understand and follow procedures and work instructions to meet specified standards
- Exceptional communication skills
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential
