Exciting opportunities await as our client, a reputable organisation in the police industry, is seeking a diligent and dedicated HR Officer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the implementation and adherence of HR policies, procedures, and processes. Your focus will be on supporting colleagues, line managers, and individuals at all stages of the HR life cycle. From providing advice on policies and procedures to assisting with recruitment, interviews, and performance management, your expertise will be vital in driving the organisation's HR operations.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive advice, guidance, and information on a variety of HR-related issues, including policies, recruitment, terms and conditions, maternity, and attendance management.
Support HR Business Partners and HR Leads in various HR operation-related tasks, including administration, induction, job evaluation, and interviews.
Conduct HR analysis and reporting operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
Coordinate HR processes, such as attendance management, maternity, flexible working, and special leave.
Stay up to date with emerging employment legislation, best practises, and internal trends to support senior HR colleagues.
Assist in the development of HR systems to enhance effectiveness.
Support HR projects, policy reviews, and process improvements.
Ensure quality standards for HR operations and processes are consistently met.

Qualifications and Skills:

Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent qualification, or commitment to obtain it within an agreed timescale.
Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Previous experience in the HR field within a multi-disciplined and multi-site organisation.
Ability to provide advice and guidance to line managers and stakeholders on HR matters.
Proficiency in HR processes, including induction, recruitment, attendance management, and fairness at work.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel).
Welsh language skills are desirable.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive an hourly rate of £15.96.
