We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer on behalf of our client in Merseyside, who are a well-established housing association and are looking for an experienced housing professional to support their team on an ongoing, temporary contract running well into 2025, offering competitive hourly rates and hybrid working.
You'll be responsible for managing a caseload of complex ASB & other tenancy breach cases where legal measures must now be considered to enforce tenancy conditions.
Key responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with Neighbourhood teams and external partners to tackle ASB, hate crime and domestic abuse within communities and ensure customers feel safe and secure in their own homes
- Gathering evidence, taking witness statements, preparing legal documentation for court proceedings, serving notices
- Ensuring witnesses are provided with appropriate support throughout investigations, including preparing them to attend and give evidence in court
- Liaising with and making referrals to external services where appropriate, such as mediation
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in an ASB management role, having prepared witness statements and other legal documentation for court
- Experience at representing and giving evidence in court
- Good knowledge of current and relevant legislation and policies in relation to housing, ASB and crime
