As a Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement category leads in various procurement activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with tender processes, managing procurement system tasks, and overseeing supplier performance and contract management. Your work will ensure that procurement operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the procurement team.
Role - Buyer
Location - Weybridge (3 days onsite per week)
Type - 12 Month FTC
Salary - £30,000-£33,000
Key responsibilities of the Buyer role will include not be limited to:
- Managing and coordinating the P2P process in the SAP Procurement system in compliance with procurement policies and standards
- Supporting procurement month-end close
- Assisting relevant stakeholders in completing sourcing tasks
- Supporting internal and external audit completion by preparing required documents
- Providing weekly procurement updates
Key skills and experience required for Buyer and not limited to:
- Solid understanding of procurement processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally SAP but not essential
- Strong communication skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Package
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Team-oriented and flexible with a can-do approach
