Remote / WFH. Platform Architect / DevOps Engineer – LAMP specialist. Due to sustained expansion, this award-winning software solutions company seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer / Platform Architect to work in an automation team, part of a wider DevOps function, within Core development.

DevOps Engineer / Platform Architect – the company:

DevOps Engineer / Platform Architect – the opportunity:

Working in a structured environment, in a great team, this is very much a proactive role, leading the improvement of a platform's underlying Linux architecture:

  • Supporting the architectural design of: Linux virtual servers, docker containers, Apache / Nginx and MySQL databases
  • Monitoring threats, advising developers and aid with platform security features
  • GIT version control – managing and improving control flow and processes
  • 3rd line architectural support
  • Leading and mentoring less experienced members
  • ISO9001, ISO27001, PCI-DSS adherence

DevOps Engineer / Platform Architect – the person:

It is critical you have specialised skills in the entire LAMP stack and Docker containerisation.

  • Linux package management
  • An eye for the future on new frameworks and libraries
  • Have delivered complex, large-scale development projects in a multidisciplinary environment
