English Teacher

We are working in partnership with a secondary school in West Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to start at the beginning of the new academic year. This is a full-time and long-term position until the end of the first term initially, with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate. To be successful, you will be an English Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Job Description:
- Delivering engaging English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
- Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
