Temporary Finance Administrator
Location: Ilkeston
Role Type: Temporary (4-6 weeks with potential for extension and a permanent position)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Hourly Rate: £12 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
About the Company:
We are working with a leading manufacturing company based in Ilkeston, known for their commitment to quality and excellence. They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join the team on a temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity for extension and potential transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and direct calls professionally and efficiently.
- Utilise excellent Excel and Word skills for various adhoc tasks.
- Enter pre-prepared invoices into our IT system accurately.
- Input time worked to generate efficiency reports for the production department.
- Perform reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understand and process both purchase and sales orders.
- Work confidently and independently in a fast-paced, busy environment.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Excel, Word, and general IT systems.
- Previous experience in a finance or administrative role, particularly with reconciliations.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of purchase and sales order processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Available to start immediately.
