Multiskilled maintenance electrician £43000 - 44000
- General Electrical Plant site wide. Including maintaining existing plant and equipment and the installation of new systems to site.
- Involvement in small projects from concept through to design, installation and commissioning.
- Responding to breakdowns to maintain production across the entire site, minimising breakdowns through regular routine maintenance.
- Improving current systems on site such as required spares, drawings and other technical documentation.
- Working with and reviewing current safety systems on site and complying with all legislation, regulations and company rules.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set.
Shift pattern
Monday to Friday, two weeks early, one-week days and one week afters rota
Skills
- Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical and Mechanical engineering activities of their plant.
- Experience in HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, switchgear and transformers. (Desirable)
- Experience with Power Distribution, Emergency Generators and UPS
- Familiarity with Instrumentation and Process Controllers.
- Practical knowledge of PLCs, Motor Control and Variable Speed Drives.
- Experience, preferably in a 24/7 Production Environment.
- Working on a Call Out basis when required
Qualifications
- Educated to BTEC ONC/HNC Level.
- Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
- Qualified in 18th Edition BS7671 Electrical Regulations. (Desirable)
- H.V. Awareness Qualification. (Desirable)
- Siemens S5 and S7 experience. (Desirable)
