Your Next Adventure:

We're on the hunt for a passionate Finance Officer to join our clients Finance team at HQ in Dumfriesshire. This role is perfect for someone who's eager to dive into financial management, ensure compliance, and support the global grants and donors. If you're a problem-solver with a knack for numbers, this could be your dream job!

What You'll Do:

  • Crunch Numbers Like a Pro: Help produce timely financial reports and fund requests for our global donors.
  • Budget Wizardry: Assist in developing donor budgets using our cutting-edge financial planning system (Adaptive Insights).
  • Optimise Processes: Play a key role in developing tools and systems to streamline budgeting and forecasting.
  • Monitor & Report: Keep a close eye on grant and contract finances, working with the team to forecast and report on project costs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Help us stay compliant with regulations, from overseas statutory requirements to donor standards, through audits and reviews.
  • Support Audits: Prepare documentation and liaise with auditors to ensure everything is in top shape.

What we're Looking For:

  • Finance Savvy: At least 2 years of experience in a finance role.
  • Excel Skills: You're comfortable with Excel and can create pivot tables, use VLookup, SUMIF, and more.
  • Great Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ready to Travel: A willingness to visit our programs and make a global impact.

Salary: up to £30,000 dependant on skills and experience
