Tradewind is working alongside a fantastic SEN school in Westminster who are looking for a PMLD Teaching Assistant. The role is full time starting in September with scope to become permanent after 2-3 terms.

A day school for pupils aged 2-19 years with a range of severe learning difficulties including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The school's goal is to enable each pupil to develop his or her full potential. A broad and balanced curriculum is provided that is differentiated to meet individual needs and which enables access to the National Curriculum
As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below:
- Supporting students with PMLD mostly on a 1:1 basis
- Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social health, hygiene, first aid and welfare
- Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and SEN professionals
- Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
