Production and Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Uphold and enforce the highest standards of safety and compliance across all plant operations.
- Guide and inspire our operational shift teams to safely manage high-pressure, cryogenic plant equipment.
- Maintain and improve the availability and efficiency through robust engineering support and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of excellence, ensuring your team is well-trained, motivated, and equipped to meet operational demands.
- Monitor and enhance workforce performance, implementing improvement plans as necessary.
- Ensure standby cover and emergency response readiness, acting as Incident Controller when required.
- Oversee the implementation of safe systems of work, risk assessments, and the Permit to Work system
Production and Operations Manager Requirements:
- HNC/D in engineering or equivalent (essential); Degree in Engineering (desirable). IOSH/NEBOSH safety qualification is a plus.
- At least 3 years in a high-hazard, process-based environment with a strong understanding of safe systems of work.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, driving performance and maintaining high standards.
- Strong planning, organisational, and IT skills, with a detailed understanding of risk assessment and incident investigation.
