Planned Works Manager

We are looking for a qualified, highly motivated and experienced Chartered Surveyor to join our Property Team. Working with a team of experienced surveyors based across the East region, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing and reporting on the delivery of planned works projects, with occasional travel as required to our sites and offices across the region.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Planned Works Team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of planned works projects, ensuring legislative /regulatory compliance and delivery within the approved budget. Working with the Property Director, you will be responsible for planning future programmes and providing regular performance updates.

You will have excellent written communication and report writing skills, writing and reviewing specification, tender and contract documents, value for money statements and policies/procedures. You will assist with internal and external audits and ensure implementation of recommendations made.

About you

  • You will be a Chartered Member of the RICS or equivalent with a HNC, HND or Degree level qualification.
  • You will have an understanding of building construction and building pathology, with experience diagnosing defects and specifying remedial works.
  • You will be an excellent people manager with proven experience managing a remote team.
  • You will have good knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation including CDM, Fire and Building Safety.
