Gloucester - Computer Science Teacher
About the Role:
Tradewind are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Computing Teacher to join a 'Good' Ofsted-rated school. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and guide students in the world of computing and technology. The role is a full-time position, starting September until the end of the academic year. This role will be a temporary to permanent position if both parties are happy!
(The school will also consider part time for the right candidate)
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of tech enthusiasts. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging computing lessons, fostering a passion for technology, and equipping students with essential digital skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver computing lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Inspire students with the latest trends in technology and computer science.
- Integrate hands-on activities and real-world applications into the learning experience.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and QTS.
- Strong knowledge of computing concepts, programming languages, and emerging technologies.
- Effective communication skills to engage and motivate students.
- A passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
