We are searching for a switchboard call operator who can be an integral in the communications team of the health board and insuring the smooth efficient and effective transition between departments. Our dream candidate would be a conversational Welsh speaker with excellent English communication skills.
Day to Day:
- Switchboard managing income and outgoing calls effectively.
- Providing information to callers and transferring calls as appropriate to the correct department.
- Monitor the switchboard equipment to ensure functionality reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the organisation's operations and key personal.
- Handle emergency calls with priority and have good time management skills.
- Assist in the maintaining the telephone database.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Welsh and English.
- Previous experience with telecommunications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage emergency situations effectively.
- High level of professionalism and courteous approach.
