About the Job
The Billing Accountant will oversee the billing process, manage bank reconciliations, maintain the fixed asset register, and support other financial operations within the organisation.
Duties will include:
- Managing the accurate and timely billing of fees and extra charges
- Handling client queries and direct debit processing
- Conducting daily bank reconciliations and posting cash receipts and payments
- Updating the Fixed Asset Register
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Supporting year-end accounts
- Assisting with audits
About the Successful Applicant
- The ideal candidate will hold an accounting qualification (AAT or similar)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Previous experience with financial accounts systems
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
