Requirements
- Practical skills working with hand tools
- Soldering skills
- Able to use crimp tools
Responsibilities
- Build sub-assemblies and production assemblies
- Route wires and install electrical components into assemblies
- Build cables and various other connectors with up to 20 pin plugs
- Crimp terminal eyelets to wire end
- Connect wires to accessories such as terminal points using soldering equipment and hand tools
- Pot or encapsulate cables / sub-assemblies
- Carry out work in progress functionality testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies
