We are working on behalf of our client, who are a Commercial Insurance Brokerage based in Northampton. Their team service and advise clients in a broad range of sectors and they are on the hunt for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join team.
The purpose of the role is to ensure a high-quality service is provided to all clients, in accordance with their requirements and need, whilst also growing revenue for the business. You will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of commercial clients and will be tasked with expanding and developing a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
The essential requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Executive is a must.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, ideally with 5 years experience within the industry.
- Experience working in an FCA controlled environment.
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting targets and driving revenue growth.
- IT skills including use of an Insurance IT system, ideally Acturis or OpenGI.
- Strong organisation skills.
- Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
- Strong customer service & the ability to build solid relationships with client and insurers.
- Cert CII Qualification (or the willingness to work towards the qualification)
