Job Overview:
The role primarily manages our email marketing programme, which is run in-house, to our opted-in database promoting our car leasing offers as well as company news and information. In addition, the role also supports the wider marketing team with SEO and content writing and website updates, as well as any specific marketing projects as they develop. This is a broad marketing role, with a focus on email marketing, which would suit an individual looking to further develop a wide range of marketing skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing our email marketing programme using Mailchimp, sending a range of emails every week
- Working with our SEO Executive to improve our website's visibility online through optimisation activities
- Creating written content for our website as required, to support our copywriting team
- Assisting the marketing team with website development projects and updates, particularly with testing and deployments
- Assisting the marketing team with any other on- or offline marketing projects as required
- Working to and meeting Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Consumer Duty requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of managing email marketing campaigns, and working with Mailchimp would be an advantage
- Minimum 1-2 years previous work experience in a digital marketing environment is preferred, or the role could be adapted to suit a recent graduate with some relevant work experience
- Experience of search engine optimisation would be an advantage
- Competent use of Google Analytics
- Competent writer – confident in writing ability, able to write in a variety of styles as required
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker
- Project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrable interest and passion in digital marketing
- An interest in cars, vehicles or the automotive sector would be an advantage, but not essential
- Degree in Marketing/Business Management/Advertising / PR / Journalism or a language/arts-based degree such as English, Modern Languages, History, Geography, or similar
