Simpson Judge are proud to be assisting a multi officed and disciplined legal 500 client of ours in their search for a new Corporate Solicitor to join their well-established team and tight nit team in their construction Manchester central office.
Our client is a Leading Law firm outside of the city centre, with outstanding Legal 500 quality matters to work on. You will be joining an established team with a large caseload and great experienced support staff
The role will see the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on:
- Manage a varied caseload of contentious construction matters, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation.
- Advise clients on construction disputes involving defects, delays, payment issues, and contract breaches.
- Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and adjudication hearings.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes.
- Assist in drafting and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, and collateral warranties
- Provide advice on procurement routes, project risk management, and contract administration.
The Ideal Construction Solicitor will:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing clear, commercially focused advice.
- Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm to deliver a full-service offering to clients.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and client presentations.
