Are you a Cover Supervisor seeking an exciting new opportunity? Empowering learning are currently recruiting for a full time Cover Supervisor to work in a variety of Secondary Schools across Sandwell and Dudley on a short-term basis from September.

Paying up to £140 per day

£150 Welcome bonus

The ideal candidate must be able to confidently deliver the pre-planned work laid out by the class teacher, whilst maintaining strong behaviour and classroom management skills following the school behaviour policy.

This role will be delivering a range of general subjects across key stage 3 and 4 whilst maintaining strong behaviour and classroom management skills.

Duties of a Cover Supervisor:

  • Delivering the pre-planned lessons laid out by the class Teacher.
  • Delivering a range of different subjects across key stage 3 and 4.
  • Sole focus on delivering high quality lessons each day.
  • Managing Behaviour - Building Relationships with staff, students & parents
  • A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
  • Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.

  • Minimum level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Good behaviour management skills and be confident following school behaviour policies.
  • A substantial recent school reference.
  • Experience working in a UK School
  • Previous experience working as a Cover supervisor.
