Job Role: Technical Training Engineer
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
Location: Maidstone
Hours: Full-time Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 17:00, Fri 08:30 - 14:30
Axi Recruitment is working with a market leader in external wall insulation. A family owned organisation who are established in 25 countries across the globe. As a family owned business they are continuously seeking passionate, motivated individuals to join their UK team.
As a Technical Training Engineer you will be responsible for delivering and executing market leading training. Working closely with the wider team to help entice more custom, conduct site inspections, site audits and support the Training Function.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Delivery of technical and practical training programs in all locations
- Working with H&S representatives to ensure all health and safety is complaint in the training academy locations
- Attend meetings / site visits with customers and clients, advising of best practice and record accordingly
- Control of tools and equipment at local training academy with regular stock takes
- Ensure all training areas are clean, maintained and ready for the next course, report any defects and action accordingly
- Deliver specialised machine training courses, utilising knowledge of rendering and plastering machines
- Deliver training courses using the training trailer within the specific locations and presenting the trailer at open days
The Person:
- Strong rendering and plastering trade background and knowledge is essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- First class practical and technically astute demonstration skills
- IT Literate with MS office packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word
Must Have:
- Must hold a current CSCS Card
- Working at Height Certificate
- First Aid Trained (Training provided if needed)
- Full UK Driving License
