Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting the effective governance of the charity by providing high-level administrative support to the board of trustees and its committees. This role ensure that's all governance processes align with the charity's operational and strategic planning goals, contributing to the overall success and integrity of the organisation. It is full-time working 35 hours per week.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have proven experience in a governance or business services role, ideally within a charity, nonprofit or public sector organisation. An understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment for charities in the UK, including the charity commissions requirements and charity governance code. Experience supporting senior leadership teams and/ or boards, including the administration of meetings and accurate minute- taking.
What you'll get in return
You will have a 7 month contract with the potential to be extended working for a fantastic organisation with great benefits along with an annual salary of £42,000 to £45,000.
