Location: Commutable to Bristol
Remuneration: £55,000 - £61,000
Benefits: Car Allowance (£5,550), 7% pension, healthcare, 4x death in service, 26 days annual leave
The role of the Project Manager - Concrete Repairs will involve:
- Project Manager position managing one project from tender stage through to completion
- Projects would include concrete testing/surveys, temporary works, hydro demolition, preparation works, concrete repairs, formwork, cathodic protection, civil engineering bridge works, barrier replacement, and bridge reconstruction
- Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manor
- Supporting with the recruitment of staff to fulfil project
- Ensure timely handover of reports, measurements, programme changes and other relevant information to the commercial team
- Conduct daily site briefings
- Attend weekly meetings with internal and external stakeholders to update on progress
- Make sure projects are completed within budget and time frame
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager - Concrete Repairs with:
- Must have Project Management experience within the Civil Engineering / Concrete Repairs / Formwork / Falsework / Bride Repairs / Highways market sectors
- Must have experience working on New Engineering Contracts (NEC)
- Experience in managing subcontractors & implementing EWN's and CE's
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Resilient individual that can overcome problems on site
- Full UK driving license
- Wants to take charge and be in control
- Confident and articulate
