Calling all Speech and Language Therapists in Surrey!
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist in the Mitcham area to support elderly patients in a community setting, attending patient homes or their care homes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within patients and their family, ensuring therapeutic support to elderly patients with Dysphagia, in their own homes or their care home.
Pay: £40 LTD p/h + £250 Welcome Bonus
Location: Mitcham, Surrey
Working Hours: Monday - Friday | 08:30 - 17:00
Contract: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Face-to-face domestic visits, manage own diary and bookings.
- Working with patients who have had a stroke, ABI, Parkinson's, MND, and MS Patients.
- Experience in Dysphagia, Aphasia and Motor Speech Disorders.
- Use advanced specialist knowledge and levels of experience appropriately and effectively across a range of work practices which is underpinned by comprehensive and extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
- Obtain history, speak to family, careers and create relationships with your patients.
- Administrative Duties, Diary management
Essential
- Registered with the HCPC
- Dysphagia Trained
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Minimum 1-year recent NHS Experience
