Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Pharmacy Commercial Partnerships team, part of the Healthcare Business Unit.

Pace of change has never been faster, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering a strategic change project within Pharmacy to support the Pharmacy margin growth agenda, which includes enhancing systems capability and functionality to improve Pharmacy commercial partnership's flexibility to work with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Head of Ethical Commercial Realisation you will be responsible for leading this key project to enhance core pharmacy dispensing margin. This will include:

  • Setting up and maintaining up to date project plans including managing internal and external dependencies
  • Working closely with workstream leads to ensure key milestones are delivered at pace and to the agreed level of quality and cost.
  • Leading project governance processes, including facilitating project meetings, producing project reports, and managing risks and issues.
  • Managing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to ensure project success, alignment, and appropriate use of escalation to remove blockers and confirm decisions.
  • Liaising with the wider project management community to further develop your experience and skills and ensure consistent approach to project delivery is maintained.

What you'll need to have:

  • Experience of managing projects involving different levels of scale and complexity
  • Experience of commercial and operational processes
  • Ability to maintain project process rigour and discipline throughout the full lifecycle a project
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Be able to manage expectations of key stakeholders and communicate at all levels

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Training in a recognised project management qualification such as Prince2 and Agile or equivalent.
