Our client, a leading full-service events agency responsible for the delivery of a range of live, digital, and creative event solutions for a variety of clients, are looking for an Account Manager to join their growing agency. The Account Managers are key members of the Client Services Team, supporting Account Directors and supported by Account Executives, your primary focus is nurturing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and developing relationships with new clients.

As an Account Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary client contact for delivery. Relaying timings, scope, budget, resource and change information to the client and wider project and production teams.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation. Fostering strong working relationships to keep projects on track.
  • Own project budget and track all ongoing costs throughout project lifecycle. Reconciling estimates to actuals on all projects, and resolving budget discrepancies between disciplines, vendors, and clients
  • Review and analysis of new client briefs. Working with relevant departments to interrogate, question and ultimately respond with solutions that align to the client's brand, requirements, and objective.
  • Dissemination of client feedback to relevant stakeholders. Aligning these to the client's expectations and formulating concise briefs to accurately define the scope of works.
  • Prepare for and lead client and internal account meetings. Following up with notes and actions, ensuring attendees are accountable.
  • Support the Account Director with external account meetings and input into the strategic Account Plan and KPI deliverables.

The ideal Account Manager will have:

  • A Strong understanding of Event or Activation Planning processes and best practices.
  • A solutions-focused approach to client account management
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing complex budgets of up to £500k.
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills including the ability to prioritise workload and work to competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to diplomatically resolve any potential conflicts and/or challenges within the business or with external stakeholders.

This is a hybrid working opportunity with up to 3 office working days per week, from either the London or Eastbourne offices.
