As a Finance Business Analyst, you'll be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency within the finance department. You'll spearhead initiatives to optimise processes, collaborate closely with various teams including the IFRS17 project team, and develop plans for transformational changes. Your robust analytical skills combined with process re-engineering experience will empower you to identify areas for improvement, devise solutions, and ensure their successful implementation.
The ideal candidate for this initial 6 month contract Finance Business Analyst position is an experienced accountant (ACCA, ACA) with extensive experience in financial services, preferably within the Insurance/ Lloyd's market. You have proven experience in designing and implementing finance process changes within the insurance industry. Your robust analytical skills are complemented by your ability to re-engineer processes for improved efficiency. You are an excellent communicator, able to effectively liaise with all operational levels of management. Familiarity with Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint is also required.
Key experience required;
- Accountant (ACCA, ACA)
