Our client is ideally seeking an Accountancy Professional who is currently or has worked within Accountancy practice before and has experience in managing and developing a team.
Main Duties:
- To lead, coach and motivate the Accounts Team
- Supervise and review the bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT returns prepared by other team members.
- Overseeing the workflow of the Bookkeeping team by reviewing weekly work plans, ensuring they meet deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards
- Drive new business conversions and present proposals to potential clients through strong internal collaboration and external networking
- Confidently utilise software such as Xero, Sage, Dext, QuickBooks, ApprovalMax, and GoProposal, while effectively training team members to use these tools efficiently
- Monitor and review team timesheets weekly
- Collaborate with clients to establish and agree on timelines for submitting bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding bookkeeping services
- Occasionally visit client offices to establish and maintain bookkeeping records and manage quarterly VAT returns
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
