Job Title: Teaching Assistant

**The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching staff and contributing to a positive learning environment. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-on-one support to students, and help to create an engaging educational experience. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help students to achieve their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Assist students with their academic work, including those with special educational needs.
  • Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in managing the classroom environment and preparing learning materials.
  • Encouragement and Motivation: Encourage student participation and engagement in lessons.
  • Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Administrative Tasks: Carry out routine administrative tasks such as record keeping and classroom organisation.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities: Participate in and support school activities and events.

**What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above); relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attributes: Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to the educational development of students.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt and take on various tasks as needed.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
