Salary: £40,000k - £45,000k + Bonus!

Location: Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a close-knit team within a growing Manufacturing and Production business based in Denton. This is a brand-new role which has been created due to growth across the business! You will be working very closely with the Finance Director, being a key finance contact dealing with a variety of queries. This role is perfect for a highly motivated, hardworking individual who is looking to grow in their next role within an expanding business!

Responsibilities

  • Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Manage the company's cash flow.
  • Provide monthly financial variance analysis and recommend performance improvements where applicable.
  • Implement necessary improvements to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to provide performance and financial information and advise on medium-term financial strategy.
  • Ensure all financial records, reconciliations, and procedures are maintained, adhering to Accounting Standards.
  • To be actively involved in production of periodic and year-end financial accounts.
  • Responsible for leading Company financial Audit.
  • Any ad-hoc tasks to support the Finance Director and wider Finance Team.
  • Monthly Management Accounts.

What you'll need to succeed as a Finance Manager

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Excel skills and to be able to manipulate large set of data.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting experience.
  • Proven record of delivering financial reporting to strict deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual with excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail.
