My Client is a leading Top 200 firm seeking a Senior Solicitor to support their Wills, Trusts & Probate team. You will work closely with the team leader, partners, and solicitors to manage and streamline caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality legal services in wills, trusts, tax planning, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, and Probate law.
- Enhance legal knowledge, analyse information, communicate effectively, and research case law.
- Maintain high client care standards, ensure proper file management, and optimize technology use.
- Manage billing processes, delegate tasks, guide junior team members, and control cash and disbursements.
- Introduce and manage new business, maintain proactive relationships with clients and referrers.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: Degree (2:1 or above), strong LPC pass or equivalent, current practicing certificate from the SRA.
- Ideally 6+ years post-qualification experience in Wills, Trusts & Probate
- Strong technical grounding
- Passion for the practice area
- Proficiency in document management systems and MS Office
- Experience in managing and mentoring team members (desirable)
- Business development and marketing experience
