Role Overview: As a Temporary Purchasing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with supplier communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing purchase orders and requisitions.
- Maintain and update purchasing databases and records.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
