We are recruiting for a Year 5 Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Hindley Green, Wigan (WN2) to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible!

The Year 5 Teacher role is to start as soon as possible and will be until the end of July 2024. This role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. There are 28 children in the class and there are two full-time TAs working on a one to one basis with SEND Children.

Your role & responsibilities:
- Supervising the students in class, ensuring they complete set task
- Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
- Managing behaviour
- Upholding school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Non-negotiables:
- You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
- Hold QTS
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- Be passionate and understanding
- Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
- Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
- Good communication skills
