We are eager to bring a passionate Spanish teacher on board to our committed team in Preston! This role offers an exciting chance to engage and inspire our KS3 and KS4 students. Enjoy a competitive daily pay rate between £155 and £230, depending on your experience, qualifications, and teaching abilities.

In this role, your responsibilities will include crafting engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to various learning styles, ensuring that students build confidence in their speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities. You will create a welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration, promoting a love for language learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
  • Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Punctual and reliable

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal Attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed
