Financial Controller - About The Role
You will be responsible for the overall control of all financial control and reporting for the business within the UK. This position is a number one role in finance within the UK.
This position will be working with the CFO and the senior stakeholders within the business.
Working within an interesting and progressive industry with significant growth plans within the business strategy. You will not have any responsibility for any members of the finance team, your responsibilities will incorporate the following:
- Cash flow management for the UK and a Parent company (not in the UK)
- Budget & forecasting - running the annual budget process, working closely with the management team in the UK, reporting and controlling the variances
- Regulatory and statutory compliance - you will act as the main point of contact all on statutory and regulatory bodies in the UK
- Reporting to both UK GAAP and Group IFRS
- Co-ordinate and manage the audit process.
- Management of a small finance team
- R & D claims
The successful Financial Controller will have
- IFRS & UK GAAP knowledge
- Qualified within ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW
- Ideally experience of working with Netsuite
