Logistics and Supply Chain Manager required for a global manufacturer based in Buckinghamshire. This is a full time, permanent post offered on a hybrid basis with a salary range between £50k - £60k, plus a host of excellent employee benefits and an end of year discretionary performance led bonus scheme. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director and wider global key stakeholders, this exciting career opportunity seeks an experienced manager who can evidence leading and motivating a team with purchasing inventory, expediting, and buying capabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include the execution and delivery of an effective and efficient supply chain strategy, ensuring that business practices are streamlined and concise and able to support the inventory and sales order process. You will work closely with new and existing suppliers chain partners with an approximate annual spend of £50 million, continuously monitoring supply services in line with mandated SLA's, strictly measured by a range of KPI criteria. Further accountability of UK and EMEA freight expenditure, sometimes working to challenging revenue return targets.

As the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager, your career to date will evidence a minimum of 5 years similar level experience, gained within a manufacturing environment, and previous management skills and expertise. The need to challenge, assess and continually improve the current 'status quo' requires a confident, professional, and persuasive candidate who can communicate with internal and external stakeholders, influencing positive changes across the wider supply chain. There is a need to support the implementation of a new ERP system from the Supply Chain piece, driving through new business initiatives whilst training and developing your wider team.

You must be able to evidence staff management, staff appraisal, review, and assessment skills, able to source and recruit new team members whilst evaluating the wider needs of the team. Due to the nature of this client, we are seeking a candidate who has worked with in manufacturing, someone who has knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques. This is a busy and evolving role, one which may request European travel to share and enhance business experiences with others in the wide group.
