With a world-class R&D facility, this company develops ground-breaking methods using the latest tech and industry-leading techniques to create bespoke equipment second to no competitor on the market. Due to a recent and large surge in business, the company is looking to expand its team with a Machine Operator / Assembly Technician to help keep up with recent success.
Your new role
The duties of your new role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Operating automatic upcut saws to cut aluminium profile stock as required from the production cutting list
- Operating the CNC Router to cut a variety of panels as required from the production cutting list.
- Operating Milling and Drilling machines to perform basic machining to lengths of extruded aluminium.
- Determining the correct cut lengths to minimise scrap
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will require the following:
- At least 1 years in a similar mechanical engineering role.
- Minimum GCSE Mathematics & English.
- NVQ Level 2 In Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to work within given time frames
- Able to work easily with others and be part of a team
- Electrical installation wiring is desirable
