Advantage Resourcing is working in partnership with a leading aerospace organisation seeking a

Quality Manager – Process Assurance

with strong knowledge in

systems engineering, auditing/surveillance

, and

verification & validation (V&V)

practices. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that engineering planning and execution align with defined process standards throughout the system development lifecycle.

What will you be doing?

  • Support and advise project and design teams on process assurance across systems development.
  • Liaise with project managers to review planning activities and ensure quality is embedded at every stage.
  • Evaluate the applicability and effectiveness of verification and validation (V&V) results.
  • Conduct structured quality checks and surveillance activities.
  • Compile and maintain accurate process assurance documentation.
  • Perform audits and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS/EN 9100.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate quality-related feedback and improvements effectively.

A couple of things you should know:

  • Strong working knowledge of systems engineering principles is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in auditing, surveillance, and performing V&V assessments.
  • Exposure to standards such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and AS/EN 9100 is highly desirable.
  • A background in aerospace or aviation is desirable.
  • Must be confident in interacting with senior stakeholders and contributing to project assurance at a high level.
  • Experience compiling quality documentation and performing structured reviews.

During an interview, you may be asked about:

  • Your experience with system-level quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with standards and systems engineering models.
  • How you've supported project planning and design feedback loops.
