A highly successful business working in an interesting sector, based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Working in a team of 8, you will play a key role with clear development. The role will be suited to someone who is keen to learn on the job and a proactive individual who is confident in taking initiative and responsibility of their role as they will be heading up the payments function.
Your new role
- Daily: end to end processing of all payments including from various currencies, banks and countries
- Daily: completing reconciliations for all payments on Xero
- Daily: corresponding with suppliers, logging, paying and responding to all payment requests
- Daily: working with accountants on daily bookkeeping and cash reconciliations for any payment detail queries
- Other ad hoc office tasks
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a finance position, either Purchase Ledger or Credit Control
- Attention to detail and being able to show initiative
- Team player is a must
- Excellent system knowledge including Excel
