Grafton Banks Finance is pleased to be supporting an exciting business in the Crawley area, who are seeking a temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their finance team. This is initially a temporary role, with the potential for a permanent position. You will be responsible for assisting the finance department with a range of sales ledger duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocating and posting incoming payments to the correct accounts
- Managing the sales ledger inbox and responding to customer queries
- Monthly reconciliation of bank statements for accounts receivable entries
- Supporting the Credit Controller with credit control tasks to help reduce aged debt
- Assisting with various ad-hoc finance projects and tasks as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Available to start immediately and looking for a temporary position
- Previous experience in credit control, sales ledger, or accounts receivable
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
- Based in, or able to commute to, Crawley
