Position: HR and Training Manager

Role Overview: As the HR and Training Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring my client is a continued employer of choice in our region and industry. This position combines strategic vision with hands-on operational responsibility. You'll lead their HR and training efforts, supported by a talented HR Administrator, and work closely with managers to create an environment where everyone thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy: Develop and drive their HR and training strategy, aligning it with business objectives.
- Day-to-Day HR Support: Provide expert HR support across the organisation, empowering line managers to handle people-management issues effectively.
- Training Needs: Identify training needs across their multi-skilled workforce and facilitate relevant courses and qualifications.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and create systems that support our people.
- Equal, Diverse, and Inclusive Environment: Drive their pursuit of an inclusive working environment where everyone can give their best.
- Advisory Role: Provide pragmatic advice to senior managers, including the CEO, on complex HR matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrable expertise in leading and delivering HR and training strategies.
- Ideally Chartered MCIPD status or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience in a comparable SME or larger organisation.
